Welcome to The Illusive Design dot com
My name is Rob Barker. I am a graphic designer and illustrator from Cardiff, South Wales. I graduated from the University of Glamorgan with a First Class Honours degree in Design For Media.
I am currently working as a design/artworker for Skanem Cardiff where I have added a variety of new skills to my arsenal, both technical and personal.
I am a sociable, easy-going person and am a great team player with good communication skills, although I am just as capable and comfortable working independently. I am hard-working, open-minded and very passionate about all the work I do. I have a great eye for detail and am able to maintain my high standards of work whilst under pressure and working to tight deadlines.
I enjoy facing new challenges, especially if it will improve on my existing skills or leave me with a whole new set to unleash on future projects. I feel if you're not learning then you're standing still and to me, that's boring...
